We would eat dinner and then study the bible together. So, we didn't really have anything to study with, but I found it interesting that we were studying Acts and trying at least to act like the 1st century churches.Amanda McCuskerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04471043512212324879noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-615423499109817060.post-33368681914757713382011-06-02T19:39:02.209-07:002011-06-02T19:39:02.209-07:00Thanks Jenny and Amanda...and Amanda I am so happy...Thanks Jenny and Amanda...and Amanda I am so happy to have a new follower! What did you use to study Acts in depth? I know the Bible ;), but did you study with any other books?Ashley Snellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08049594443184266577noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-615423499109817060.post-23987948353995515812011-06-02T10:39:03.491-07:002011-06-02T10:39:03.491-07:00I'm a new follower here! I studied Acts in depth last fall and really enjoyed reading and understanding what being a Christian is all about. The more I learned, the more I realized it isn't about the number of people coming through the doors and it isn't about how much money we shell out when the offering plate comes around. Being a Christian is all about helping people. About doing something for others when we would rather be doing anything else. My witnesses aren't preaching from a pulpit, they are small acts of kindness with a loving spirit. Also, it's amazing how much it can mean to someone (Christian or not) to say, "I'll pray for you." I love your blog, I think you hit it on the head with your points. It's time we be intentional :) I am so glad that you will be coming to the BMoore study. LoveAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00427653868855926351noreply@blogger.com
